Step 2: Pay the Agency a booking fee

Step 3: Pay the Babysitter directly at the end of the booking.  Please pay the babysitter by cash or cheque.

$31.50 per booking*. Taxes are included.

Rates for Babysitters

Babysitter rates vary based on 3 different categories.  The rates include care of up to 3 siblings.

Bronze Level, $21.00/hr

Babysitter meets our Agency’s minimum requirements.

Silver Level, $22.00/hr

Babysitter meets our Agency requirement, has over 4 years of full-time childcare or teaching experience and has over 100 bookings with us.

Gold Level, $24.00/hr

Babysitter meets our Agency requirements, has over 4 years of full-time childcare or teaching experience and has over 200 bookings with us.

The Minimum Booking is 4 hours

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within 24 hours prior to the booking time will result in an automatic 4 hour cancellation charge (Rate for the nanny X 4 hours) to your credit card. Please provide over 24 hours notice for cancellations to avoid the cancellation charge. Booking Fees are non-refundable.

Additional Rates for Babysitters

Extra $3.00 per hour for each additional child from another family

Statutory Holidays – Extra $2 per hour

Over 8 hours – Babysitter Rate X 1.5 (Overtime)

Over 10 hours – Babysitter Rate X 2 (Double time)

After Midnight – Extra $2.00 per hour

New Years Eve – Double Rate applies

Christmas Day – Double Rate applies

Screening Process

Babysitters are interviewed in person and screened.  The screening process requires sitters to provide a Criminal Record Check, a valid CPR/First Aid Certificate and at least 2 references related to childcare.  Babysitters must be over 19 and have over 2 years of childcare experience.
